Error when trying to use GIT with TRAC

When using GIT as the version control system in TRAC, you might run into trouble. We need to install the Trac Git Plugin for making TRAC  communicate with GIT. This is a plug-in for TRAC that adds support for the GIT version control system.

Installation

1. Get the plugin.

svn co http://trac-hacks.org/svn/gitplugin/0.10/ gitplugin

2. cd gitplugin
3. python setup.py bdist_egg
4. cp dist/TracGit-0.0.1-py2.4.egg ~/trac_env1/plugins/
