Issue :
New emails need to be forwarded from one account to another without having them stored in the original account. The usual method of deleting the old email account cannot be applied as it contains many important emails from the past.
Solution :
This cannot be achieved through the ‘Email forwarders’ section in cPanel. Instead, you can use the ‘Email Filtering’ option for this.
1. Login to cPanel
2. Click on Email Filtering under the Mail options
3. Click on add filter
4. Then create a Filter as follows :
To contains [email protected] and in the destination column you can put [email protected]
Also, don’t forget to remove the forwarder setting ([email protected] => [email protected]) .
