Mysql Version Mismatch in cPanel and Backend(Shell)
Issue: cPanel says that the version of MySQL is 4.1.20. However, when I check the version within Shell it tells me I’m running MySQL-5.0. Why is cPanel not reporting the correct version? Fix: Steps: * just remove the file at /home/username/.cpanel/datastore/_usr_sbin_mysqld_–version * Then log back into your cPanel. It will then display the correct version.
